Press release

Whether fire brigade, technical relief organisation (THW), or rescue and medical service: With the children's mobile containers from Munk Rettungstechnik, the youth groups of aid organisations can practise at an early age how to deploy like the grown-ups. The quality supplier from Bavaria has developed its innovations specifically for children and youth work in fire brigades and aid organisations. New in the programme are the roll containers in the THW and rescue service versions. This means that all young rescuers can practise for emergencies and have lots of fun at the same time. The roll containers are visually designed as cool fire engines, THW vehicles and ambulances. They are equipped with the "original" blue light system and signal horn and, depending on the version, also with a pump control station, children's chainsaws or first aid kits and offer sufficient space for additional equipment.

"Our mobile containers for children's fire brigades have been so well received by the emergency services of tomorrow that we now also want to help the next generation of THW and rescue services to prepare for emergency operations at an early stage. It's great that we, as a premium provider, are promoting and supporting the children's and youth work of rescue and relief organisations on so many levels with our new roll containers. The young heroes will certainly have a lot of fun practising with the wheeled containers and feel like their big colleagues," emphasises Ferdinand Munk, owner and Managing Director of the Munk Group.

All children's mobile containers from Munk Rettungstechnik are characterised by their robust construction with high-strength aluminium profiles and weatherproof wooden screen-printed panels, and each has two compartments for equipment. They also score points with an air chassis and a folding drawbar for ergonomic operation, which can also be removed for space-saving transport.

The new roll container in the THW version comes in the familiar dark blue colour of the technical relief organisation. In addition to blue lights and a signal horn, the innovation also boasts a wide range of technical equipment: from hand lamps and cut-off grinders to shovels, brooms and scaling ladders to children's chainsaws with acoustic signals, the mobile container has everything that THW trainees need for realistic exercises.

It's not just the ambulance look of the new mobile container for junior rescue services that ensures a real operational experience during training: in the Red Cross version, the Munk innovation impresses with first aid kits including first aid material and Euro containers for storing high-visibility waistcoats and offers sufficient space for additional equipment as required.

Roll containers for children's fire brigades

The family-run company offers two versions of its mobile containers for children's fire brigades. They are both equipped with a blue light, a signal horn and an integrated pump control panel. Type 1 can be closed with tarpaulins with press studs, type 2 is equipped with a roller shutter including espagnolette lock. Type 1 is moved via a continuous handle bar. Both roller containers have a foot-operated parking brake.
