  • First step taken: Six young talents embark on their future

On 1 September, we welcomed six new trainees to the Munk Group. Over the next three years, they will complete their training in the professions of industrial clerk, metalworker specialising in construction technology and warehouse logistics specialist.

After a tour of our production facilities, the newcomers gained an initial insight into our diverse fields of activity – from ladders and mobile scaffolding to special constructions and rescue and transport technology.

With our multi-award-winning training concept, we promote personal responsibility, team spirit and personal development. Already in the first few weeks, our new colleagues can look forward to exciting introductory activities, projects and a joint outing.

We are currently training 26 apprentices and students, thus laying the foundation for a successful future – for our next generation and for us as a growth-oriented family business.

Safe splashing: MUNK Group provides mobile playpens for the little ones at the Waldbad.

Four new, high-quality playpens are now available at the Waldbad Günzburg. They offer toddlers a protected area while their parents are briefly occupied – thus preventing the little ones from running unsupervised towards the water.

The sturdy, mobile playpens can be borrowed in the children's paddling pool area and inside the kiosk – for even more safety and relaxed visits to the outdoor pool.

Many thanks to Lothar Böck (Chairman of Stadtwerke Günzburg) and Josef Fritz (operator of Waldbadgastronomie) for this excellent idea.

Soest district relies on mobile roll containers for emergencies

When every second counts in an emergency, equipment must be ready for immediate use. That is why the district of Soest has now converted the contents of its roll-off container for mass casualties (MANV) to modern, mobile roll containers – supported by the expertise of our rescue technology.

The new roll containers enable immediate action at the scene of the emergency without lengthy searches. Among other things, the following are immediately at hand:

    • Spine boards, stretchers and scoop stretchers
    • Ventilators & oxygen supply
    • Medical consumables
    • Tent & tent heating

The big advantage: everything important is quickly, safely and completely on site – without time-consuming searching or heavy carrying. This saves valuable time when it is most needed.

    MUNK Group celebrates Family Day

Last Saturday, the MUNK Group opened its doors to all employees and their families at its headquarters in Günzburg. In a relaxed atmosphere, guests were able to discover the numerous investments and structural changes made in recent years during guided tours of the premises.

For the younger visitors, there was a creative craft corner – and the highlight: a large bouncy castle, which made the children's eyes light up.

A successful day for the whole family!
