Trade fair highlight: With a fast pull to a working height of 7 metres

Arbeitsschutz Aktuell: Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik presents first rope-extension ladder with steps.

Press release

A fine show at the Arbeitsschutz Aktuell in Stuttgart: At its stand (G1.063) in Hall 1, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik is now presenting its stepped rope-extension ladder, an absolute market innovation. It can be extended from a length of 3.62 metres to 6.42 metres with a single movement. A few pulls are all it takes - and it is ready for use in record time. The innovation from Günzburg is the first rope-operated ladder with steps on the market. With matching accessories such as handrails on the upper and lower ladder, exit rail and R13 slip resistance, the Munk Group's new product meets the requirements for the occupational safety premium programme of the BG BAU trade association. At the trade fair, the focus will also be on the other top products for occupational safety, such as the FlexxTower one-person scaffold or also the FlexxLift mini-lift.

"As rung ladders, rrope-extension ladders are very popular, especially in the trades. It was all the more important for us to be the first manufacturer to offer a rope-operated ladder that meets all requirements and standards. We had the more stringent technical rules for operational safety - especially TRBS 2121 Part 2 - in mind. So it was only logical to develop a stepped version of the rope-operated ladder. It will be one of the highlights on our stand at the fair," says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director and owner of the Munk Group based in Günzburg.

Also with R13 slip prevention

The new stepped rope-extension ladder with utility model protection from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik is available in two versions: In the standard version and in the version with the anti-slip stepping cover clip-step R13. This fulfils the strict requirements of the highest evaluation group for slip resistance R13 and ensures a particularly safe step and comfortable footing, especially in wet, oil-smeared and dusty work areas.

Compared to rung rope-extension ladders, the new stepped rope-extension ladder offers users the advantage that - in accordance with the updated TRBS specifications - they can also carry out longer lasting work on each step without additional accessories, making the ladder a versatile piece of work equipment. In the overlap area of the ladder sections, the extra-deep footing of 185 mm ensures particularly safe stepping and standing.

For safe access

The three-part stepladder multi-purpose ladder, the two-part step push-up extension ladder and the step glass cleaner's ladder, as well as the many other stepladder innovations, which were developed by Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik in accordance with the new version of TRBS 2121 Part 2 and thus comply with the stricter technical rules for operational safety, also offer a plus in terms of operational safety.

Other trade fair highlights from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik include the FlexxTower one-person scaffold, which can be assembled and dismantled by one person in record time and enables safe working up to a working height of six metres, or the FlexxLift mini lifting platform. With it, the user can effortlessly reach working heights of up to 4.2 metres.

At the Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik stand, visitors can also find out about the new training concept or the dates for the Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik roadshows, the Munk rescue equipment products and the extensive after-sales services offered by the Munk Service division.
