Entrepreneurial Mindset

Values

For Alexander Werdich, running a business means one thing above all: taking responsibility — towards customers, employees and the region. This is not a corporate programme; it is lived practice. It shows in long-term investment decisions, in an unwavering commitment to quality, and in the drive to develop solutions that stand up to daily use.

The MUNK Group stands for products that professional users can rely on without reservation: in industry, the trades, the public sector, and in fire and rescue services. For Alexander Werdich, that standard is not a given — it is a daily commitment.

For him, responsibility does not stop at the company boundary. Sustainability, community engagement and the long-term development of the business and its locations are as much a part of entrepreneurial action as revenue and growth.

"We want to be known — by our customers, our business partners and our employees — as a company that takes responsibility."
— Alexander Werdich, interview in DER MALER, November 2024

Fire Service Equipment and Industry Involvement

Engagement

In the field of fire service and rescue equipment, Alexander Werdich brings together a manufacturer's perspective with his own hands-on experience. As Managing Partner of the MUNK Group, he guides the ongoing development of a manufacturer of access equipment and rescue equipment — including the design and production of solutions for use by fire brigades.

His view of these topics goes beyond the purely commercial. As a long-serving Chief Commander of the Reisensburg Volunteer Fire Brigade and an active senior member of the MUNK Group's industrial fire brigade, he knows the demands of inspection, maintenance and operational readiness from direct personal experience.

Alexander Werdich is also active in the wider industry. He represents the MUNK Group as its contact and representative in the VDMA Fire Service Equipment association.
