Günzburger Steigtechnik is presenting its new single-person scaffolding to specialist dealers and users throughout Germany

Press release

Innovative access technology on tour throughout Germany: Günzburger Steigtechnik is now presenting the brand-new single-person FlexxTower scaffolding together with its partners from the specialist trade as part of a roadshow. During the tour, dealers as well as professional users from construction, the building trades and industry will be able to experience the added value of the innovation live on location. The scaffolding can be erected and taken down again safely and without tools by one person, and working heights up to around 6.10 metres are possible. The tour dates and further information about the roadshow can be requested by e-mail from  roadshow@steigtechnik.de  If any specialist dealers are interested in holding an event at their own premises, please contact this address, and attractive material for the point of sale will be provided.

"With the FlexxTower, we are offering users real added value in terms of handling and safety. And this is exactly what we want to present to the professionals during our roadshow directly on location – not only in theory, but also in practice. They will be able to see for themselves our new single-person scaffolding, and of course current hygiene and safety regulations will be observed. The roadshow thus once again underlines our very high standards of service and shows we are listening to our customers carefully," says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

The FlexxTower can be assembled in next to no time

With the FlexxTower, the name says it all: thanks to innovative work by the high‑quality manufacturer from Bavaria, individuals can now also work flexibly and completely independently at height without needing help from other people – and without having to forego the highest safety standards. The new scaffolding can be erected easily, quickly and without tools by a single person, but its platform also offers enough space for two people. Assembly is predetermined by the 3-T ("Through The Trapdoor") method, so that the user will always remain in the fall-protected area. Thanks to its increased safety, the single-person scaffold has been included in the occupational safety premium programme of the BG BAU (the professional association of the building industry in Germany). Additional bonus points in practice: the FlexxTower is very light and compact. In addition, a trolley suitable for transporting in narrow passages can be built from a few individual parts.

As with all products, Günzburger Steigtechnik does not compromise when it comes to the quality of its single-person scaffolding. "With the FlexxTower, we are once again living up to the 'Made in Germany' cachet and, as with our other solutions from the series product range, we offer a 15-year quality guarantee," emphasises Ferdinand Munk. Further information and a product video on the new product from Günzburg are available on the Internet at www.steigtechnik.de/flexxtower.

About the FlexxTower single-person scaffolding

The FlexxTower has a platform height of 4.10 metres, so that working heights of up to around 6.10 metres can be achieved. For workplaces at a lower height, the scaffolding can also be flexibly assembled at lower structural heights. It complies with all applicable regulations and is in conformity with DIN EN 1004. The FlexxTower can be assembled quickly and easily by one person. The handy and lightweight individual aluminium components are suspended from extendable consoles on the platform (1.20 x 0.60 metres), which means they can easily be moved from one level to another. Quick-release fasteners and scaffold claws enable efficient assembly without tools.

The single-person scaffolding from Günzburger Steigtechnik provides maximum stability with telescopic triangular outriggers equipped with swivel feet. They are infinitely adjustable on the frame tubes of the FlexxTower. In addition, uneven surfaces can be levelled out using height-adjustable swivel castors.
In addition to maximum working safety, this new product from the high-quality manufacturer from Bavaria is also distinguished by its low weight and compact dimensions, which make handling in the warehouse, during transport and on the construction site enormously easier. A transport trolley can be built from a few individual parts without the need for tools, allowing the remaining scaffolding parts or other materials to be transported quickly and ergonomically. And in this way, the FlexxTower not only fits through all standard doors, but can also be transported in many commercial vehicles.
