Back to everyday working life with added occupational safety

Günzburger Steigtechnik supports companies in the corona crisis when it comes to maintenance, process optimisation and improvement of occupational safety

25/05/2020

Press release

The coronavirus pandemic presents companies with unforeseen challenges. But for many companies, the current crisis also offers completely new opportunities – such as concentrating on maintaining and repairing systems, optimising processes or improving occupational safety. "Companies should think about tomorrow today and make provisions for when the corona shock has passed. Now is the best opportunity to tackle maintenance needs, process optimisation and occupational safety", emphasises Ferdinand Munk, Access Technology expert from Günzburg.

The Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH adds: "When companies finally ramp up their production again, they will be fitter than ever for the future, and their employees can rely on even higher safety standards, improved processes and increased work efficiency. Everyone involved will benefit from this". The premium manufacturer from Bavaria offers a wide range of solutions for a variety of tasks when working at height: these range from ladders, scaffolding and platforms from its standard range to custom-made special constructions, all of which ensure maximum efficiency and safety. Günzburger Steigtechnik supports companies with its top service during planning and project development, thus proving once again that it is a strong partner for access technology solutions that offer real added value in terms of function, handling and ergonomics

Proof of origin "Made in Germany"

Even with very small investments, companies can achieve a great impact in terms of occupational safety and process optimisation. The standard product range at Günzburger Steigtechnik comprises more than 1,600 items and ranges from ladders and rolling scaffolds to steps and platforms. New products include the single-person FlexxTower scaffolding, the second generation of the nivello® ladder shoe, the MaxxStep step module, as well as partitions and mobile sanitation stations for maximum protection against infection during these times of corona. "We are fully able to deliver. On this front, we benefit from the fact that we have been complying with the certified proof of origin 'Made in Germany' for many years and produce only at our site in Günzburg. Incidentally, this also includes the fact that we offer a 15-year quality guarantee on all series products", continues Munk.

And should individual requirements extend beyond the extensive series range, the innovation and technology leader for smart access technology solutions also offers customised special constructions. These include, for example, industry-specific ladders, platforms, runways and bridging steps, docking systems, platform stairs and working platforms for production and maintenance tasks. The individual solutions have long since arrived in the age of Industry 4.0: they can be optimally networked and, in many cases, facilitate a new level of automation.

New product configurator online

It is now easier and faster than ever before for customers of Günzburger Steigtechnik to put together their own individual bridging steps, stairs and mobile platform steps. This works digitally with the company's new product configurator. The desired dimensions, designs and accessories are entered step by step. The result is dynamically displayed in real time and after saving, an offer is immediately sent by e-mail. The new development is available at www.steigtechnik.de/konfigurator.

The product configurator complements the top, person-to-person customer support, which at Günzburger Steigtechnik is characterised by its strong focus on service. The company therefore supports its customers not only with planning and project management. The professionals from Munk Service also provide advice and support on matters concerning installation, maintenance and repair and are also the right contacts for annual ladder inspections. "Our own personal demand is to always offer our customers real added value. This has long been true not only for our innovations, but of course also for our range of services. Here, our customers can rely on the many years of experience and the concentrated expertise of our experts", says the company boss.
