Press release

In times of the coronavirus pandemic, hygiene and the safety and well-being of customers and employees are more important than ever during everyday working life. To ensure that this can be achieved in practice, Günzburger Steigtechnik has developed mobile and stationary partitions. These can be set up in no time on sales and customer advice counters, workstations and food counters, providing protection against infection transmission by droplets. Moreover, the premium manufacturer from Bavaria offers another new product for events or for use in crisis situations: mobile hygiene containers, which are designed as portable sanitation and disinfection stations. They are equipped with integrated washbasins, dispensers for soap, sanitisers, dry towels and waste disposal means, guaranteeing optimum hand hygiene for rescue services and helpers and visitors of trade fairs, concerts and events organised by local clubs and charities, etc.

"The current crisis situation makes it clear that we have to pay much more attention to hygiene and infection prevention in all areas. This applies especially to companies and the public sector, which bear a great responsibility and must take measures to protect employees, but also customers and visitors against infection", emphasises Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

Partitions against droplet transmission

Although the new partitions from his company are no substitute for essential hygiene measures, they are a good means of separation and distancing, thus helping to prevent infection through contact with other people and reducing the risk of transmission by sneezing, coughing and saliva droplets from the person standing opposite. The screens support social distancing measures, e.g. at sales and customer advice counters, at food counters, in entrance areas and reception areas or even at office workstations – all without impeding work processes. They use clear plexiglas panels and have openings where necessary to ensure that documents, goods and other items can be exchanged without any hassle. The partitions are available as mobile stands, both as free-standing or stationary solutions. The latter are made to measure by the premium manufacturer from Bavaria and individually adapted to the spatial requirements.

Thanks to their simple installation concept, the mobile partitions from Günzburg can be set up on or in front of counters and desks in no time at all with no additional construction measures needed and come with four adjustable feet to compensate for slightly uneven flooring. They can be ordered in heights of 1,145 and 1,900 mm and are 1,000 mm wide. The openings are incorporated at a height of either 340 or 1,150 mm. The screens' elegant and sturdy aluminium profiles ensure excellent stability. At the same time, they are also lightweight, easy to transport and can be stored in a manner that is space-efficient. Moreover: the partitions can be easily converted as required by replacing plexiglas panels with an advertising board or pin board.

Mobile hand hygiene made easy

Günzburger Steigtechnik has also developed versatile sanitation stations for rescue team operations and for events such as trade fairs, concerts and events organised by local clubs and charities, etc. The new mobile containers are equipped with integrated washbasins and facilitate easy hand hygiene in the most diverse range of locations. Universal dispensers for soap, sanitisers and dry towels, waste disposal means and ample space for practical storage boxes round off this innovative concept. These new products from Günzburg are available in two standard versions. Type 1 features a large stainless steel washbasin (750 x 490 mm) with a swivel tap and large draining area. In addition, this version of the mobile container also comes with an integrated, extendable water supply hose. Type 2 has a more compact design: the washbasin measures 400 x 300 mm, has an integrated waste bin and boosts hygiene through its touchless, foot-operated concept.

For both sanitation stations, connecting the water supply and drainage systems is quick and easy using a quick-release coupling. Thanks to the weatherproof wooden plywood panels and sturdy construction of aluminium profiles, these stations shine as prime examples of the proven quality of Günzberg mobile containers. Furthermore, they can also be transported ergonomically and safely thanks to the continuous handle bars, Bowden cable and dead man's switch, while the roller bearing castors ensure optimal rolling ease – ensuring the sanitation stations are where they are needed in no time at all. Lockable castors ensure they remain stable when they get there.

Made in Germany with a 15-year quality guarantee

With the new partitions and sanitation stations for maximum protection against infection, Günzburger Steigtechnik once again meets the certified proof of origin "Made in Germany" and offers a 15-year quality guarantee. Both innovations are available for delivery at short notice. All partitions can also be made to measure and the mobile containers can also be individually equipped as required.
