Access Solutions 2021 packed with top innovations

A compendium on new and tried-and-tested solutions from Günzburger Steigtechnik. The company is also expanding its digital services

25/01/2021

New products, new functions and a slew of expertise are available in Günzburger Steigtechnik's new Access Solutions 2021, a 356-page long compendium with more detail than ever before. It contains information from the Bavarian-based premium manufacturer on innovative solutions in its range of more than 1,600 standard products, and also on new digital services such as an optimised dealer search function and enhanced product configurator. The FlexxTower single-person scaffold, a winning product for Günzburger Steigtechnik last year, is featured in the Access Solutions guide for the first time. Other innovations include the new FlexxLift mini-lift, the multi-purpose ladders and solutions for protection against infection. The compendium is rounded off with a comprehensive section on standards and regulations and seminars held by the company.

'As a leader in innovations and technology for access solutions, we aim to provide customers with the highest standards of safety – Made in Germany. We therefore manufacture only in our home district of Günzburg, provide a 15-year quality warranty on our standard range and are continuously developing our product portfolio. It's a great pleasure to once again present a full range of innovations in our Access Solutions 2021 guide and to provide information on the premium services available on our recently upgraded website', says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

The new FlexxLift mini-lift platform is ideal for working at heights for longer periods and ensures maximum safety at work. Its all-round secured platform provides users a firm hold and a very secure standing area. It allows working at heights of up to 4.2 metres. The FlexxLift can be operated without electricity, enabling mobile deployment in any location. Thanks to its added work safety, this innovation from Günzburg has also been included in the work safety bonus programme run by BG BAU, the German association for statutory accident insurance and prevention for the German building industry.

New multi-purpose ladder with steps

BG BAU also endorses purchasing the multi-purpose ladder from the Bavarian premium manufacturer. This innovative product is highly flexible, usable a step ladder, straight ladder or push-up extension ladder. Moreover, it comes with a nivello® stabiliser and steps from start to finish, thereby complying with the more stringent German technical regulations for operational safety (TRBS). According to these regulations, if ladders are used as a place of work, only steps rather than rungs are permitted to be used as standing surfaces alongside platforms.

'We are constantly expanding our range of TRBS-compliant solutions. Around 90% of the relevant product range now complies with these stricter regulations, giving customers added work safety. Associations such as BG BAU also recognise the value of this. It's great that the new multi-purpose ladder with steps has therefore also been included in their occupational safety bonus programme', says Munk. Of course, all the company's other products also comply with the latest regulations, with Günzburger Steigtechnik again providing detailed information on all the relevant changes to standards in its new guide – including, for example, DIN EN 1004-1 for mobile working platforms.

For maximum protection against infection

There are also new solutions to ensure maximum protection against infections. Günzburger Steigtechnik's team reacted quickly to the corona pandemic and developed mobile and fixed partition walls. These are quick to set up at sales and support desks, workplaces and food counters and protect against aerosol infection. The new mobile hygiene containers from the Bavarian premium manufacturer are designed as mobile washing and disinfection units for versatile use at events or in crisis situations.

Website: New digital services

The new Access Solutions 2021 guide not only presents Günzburger Steigtechnik's product innovations, but also the new digital services on its website. These again demonstrate the company's high level of service provision, such as an optimised dealer search for an even faster purchasing process. Data sheets, including images, certificates and all accessories and spare parts, can now be generated for each product at the touch of a button, always providing the latest information.

The product configurator for bridging steps, stairs and mobile platform stairs has also been expanded and, according to Ferdinand Munk, has been very well received. For the first time, customers can now create their own walkways and de-icing systems in just a few clicks. And if you want to watch a video [in German] about the innovations of Günzburger Steigtechnik, www.steigtechnik.de/neuheiten is the place to go. New solutions from the extensive product range are presented here in real-life scenarios by staff from the company.
