A plus in occupational safety and efficiency in logistics

Günzburger Steigtechnik offers top products for access and loading as well as for maintenance and repair of vehicles

27.04.2021

Press release

The efficient use of the vehicle fleet is just as big a challenge for truck owners such as municipalities and companies from the transport and traffic industry as the maintenance and servicing of the vehicles. With the right equipment, not only can occupational safety and efficiency be significantly increased, but downtimes are also reduced.

Günzburger Steigtechnik, for example, offers a comprehensive range of industrial-quality access technology solutions for use in all areas of logistics. These include steps, ladders, platforms and stairs, constructions such as truck de-icing systems or even working and maintenance platforms. They all meet the high demands of the transport industry and ensure maximum safety at work with optimised work processes and easy handling.

Comprehensive standard range

"Our extensive standard range already includes many products that are perfectly suited for use in logistics," emphasises Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH. Whether aluminium work platforms, stable steps and platform stairs, loading ramps, stepladders and multi-purpose ladders or rolling and folding scaffolds: with its innovative access technology solutions, the quality manufacturer from Bavaria offers a whole range of products with real added value that enable quick and safe access to and from vehicles.

Solutions for the logistics sector

Günzburger Steigtechnik also offers a range of solutions specially tailored to the transport industry. These can be realised economically and ensure safe and efficient access to trailers, loading ramps and also the driver's cab. A new product is a stepladder, with which companies and municipalities are optimally equipped for daily work. A ladder head safety device including magnets with high adhesive force provides additional fixation to the truck. In addition, the innovation is available with an extendable handrail and can be transported easily and space-saving in the vehicle.

Other solutions especially for the logistics industry are platform ladders with lifting rollers and forklift pockets for flexible and efficient handling by means of a forklift truck, as well as tanker ladders that allow safe access for filling, maintenance and cleaning. All Günzburger Steigtechnik tanker ladders are equipped with a safety cage, can be conveniently adjusted in height and are mobile. They are used wherever food, chemical and petrochemical products are transported in tank trucks.

Incidentally, Günzburger Steigtechnik customers can also quickly and easily put together their own individual access steps, stairs and mobile platform stairs. This works digitally with the company's new product configurator, which is available on the Internet at steigtechnik.de/en/configurator.

Safety made in Germany

With the solutions from Günzburger Steigtechnik, users from the transport and traffic industry consistently rely on safety made in Germany. This is because the family-owned company manufactures exclusively in its home county of Günzburg and grants a quality guarantee of 15 years on all series products. An overview of the extensive product range of Günzburger Steigtechnik is provided by a new flyer especially for truck access, the Climbing Technology Guide 2021 and the brochure "Special Constructions".
