Press release

Over 300 dates each year, venues throughout Germany and Austria and a host of innovations: Günzburger Steigtechnik is expanding its successful roadshow concept. The premium manufacturer will now be calling in more frequently to users and specialist retailers in person – complete with its full range of new access solutions and rescue equipment products. This service is now also enhanced by the new website www.steigtechnik.de/roadshow. The website lists the current tour dates and also provides an overview of the content of the live demonstrations that can be adapted to customers’ specific needs and requests. The roadshows allows users and specialist retailers to test out the company’s innovative solutions in person. And for the first time, they can also experience tailor-made special constructions using VR glasses. The events continue to take place on a regular basis – naturally in compliance with all applicable hygiene and safety rules and regulations.

“We receive very positive feedback about our roadshows. We are therefore now expanding our successful concept: the roadshows feature even more content and there are now even more dates. This allows us to directly visit prospective customers and demonstrate our innovations to them in person – as permitted by the coronavirus restrictions. Our roadshows are now complemented by a new website, which provides information on the live shows – from tour dates and content through to specific requests for a visit. We are therefore offering an extra level of service to our customers”, stresses Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

New VR glasses in use

During the tours throughout Germany and Austria, users and retailers can convince themselves of the company's innovations and proven solutions, experience them live in situ, and also test them out themselves. For instance, the focus of the “Access Solutions” roadshow will be on new products, such as the three-section multi-purpose ladder with steps, the FlexxTower single-person scaffolding or the FlexxLift mini lift platform. Anyone wanting to experience the Bavarian manufacturer’s custom-made special constructions in a realistic way will not be disappointed either – this is now possible with VR glasses. The images are based on Günzburger Steigtechnik 3D data and, among other things, demonstrate work platforms for production and maintenance work.

The “Rescue Equipment” roadshow is explicitly aimed at fire service emergency personnel and specialist retailers. It showcases solutions from the company's comprehensive product range for fire, rescue and disaster services. They include rope-extension, push-fit, hook and multifunctional ladders, mobile containers, rescue platforms, tool boxes and fire station equipment.

Customised roadshows

Ideal for prospective customers: regardless of whether you are interested in access solutions or rescue equipment, Munk’s team gear the content of the roadshows to users’ and specialist retailers’ specific requests and needs. The entire range of access solutions and rescue equipment can be showcased, although the company’s experts are also happy to present individual product ranges in more detail. The live demonstrations also comply with all current hygiene and safety rules. Social distancing is observed at all times and hygiene and disinfection stations are available.
