Press release

Enhanced expertise, customer consulting and proximity to customers: that is precisely how Günzburger Steigtechnik is now convincing customers in its Rescue Equipment Business Unit. The company has extended its Rescue Equipment team with three new members of staff, who will expand the company’s outstanding person-to-person customer service – whether on the phone, digitally or in person at the customer's premises. The Rescue Equipment team is also offering a live roadshow to emergency services and specialist retailers at the customer’s premises throughout Germany and Austria. Our customers can now experience the extensive Günzburger Steigtechnik product range for fire, rescue and disaster services at first hand and test it in person. The roadshow will showcase multifunctional, push-fit and rope-extension ladders, mobile containers, rescue platforms, tool boxes and even fire station equipment. Check out the tour dates and further information on the roadshow at www.steigtechnik.de/roadshow.

Three new members of staff have joined the Günzburger Steigtechnik Rescue Equipment team: Philipp Barfuß has joined as Business Unit Manager, Michael Lewold as Sales Manager and Jens Eberhardt as Key Account Manager Export. All three are experienced experts in rescue equipment and are perfect additions to the team. The team now has seven members of staff, each of which is responsible for different product ranges and is therefore a specialist in his or her field of access solutions and transport logistics for fire, rescue and disaster services. They all provide first-class customers service and are on hand to provide advice and assistance to fire services, fire service operators and aid and disaster organisations.

“Our lasting success is based on innovative products that we have been developing for many years together with the emergency services. But it is also based on our excellent customer service, one-to-one personal contact with people, an approach that has lost none of its significance in the digital age. I am therefore delighted to have the three new members of our Rescue Equipment team on board, who bring plenty of fire power and depth of knowledge to the table”, stresses Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

Rescue Equipment range on tour

The Bavarian premium manufacturer is also organising a roadshow throughout Germany and Austria in its Rescue Equipment Business Unit. Emergency services and specialist retailers can therefore see for themselves the innovations and proven solutions developed by Günzburger Steigtechnik and try and test them at first hand in situ – naturally complying with all current hygiene and safety regulations. “We have received very positive feedback about our previous roadshows. It is self-evident that we will therefore systematically continue this concept and also visit customers with our rescue equipment range – providing this is permitted by the coronavirus pandemic restrictions. In this way, we once again underline our high standards when it comes to service and close customer relationships”, continues Ferdinand Munk.

When designing its roadshows, the Rescue Equipment team gears them to the individual requests and needs of emergency services and specialist retailers. The team can showcase the entire rescue equipment product range. However, the Günzburger Steigtechnik experts can also focus more intensively on specific product ranges on request. The company specialises in access solutions and transport logistics for fire, rescue and disaster services. Alongside multi-purpose, push-fit, rope-extension and hook ladders, the company also manufactures and supplies rescue platforms, fire station equipment and tool boxes, which are available for the first time equipped with premium-quality tool inserts. The range also includes a number of mobile container models, which can also be individually designed and equipped to meet the needs of the emergency services – including the first electrically-driven mobile container eRC.
