Occupational safety at the highest level

With its anti-slip paddings, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik sets new standards on the market

Press release

Occupational safety is becoming more and more important in everyday business. The fact that companies are taking the issue of occupational safety to heart is particularly evident in the demand for the "clip-step" and "clip-step R13" anti-slip step paddings from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik. They ensure optimised slip resistance, safe tread and a comfortable stand on the ladder.

The "clip-step R13" even fulfils the strict requirements of the highest evaluation group for slip resistance R13 and thus ensures increased occupational safety even in wet, oil-smeared and dusty work areas. With its innovations, the Bavarian quality manufacturer has established itself as a trendsetter in the industry and set a new benchmark in terms of occupational safety, for which it has already received several awards.

The step pad in the R13 version is also available in the signal colour yellow, for example, to mark the first or last accessible step in a particularly conspicuous way and thus provide a further plus in terms of occupational safety and accident prevention. All other steps can also be equipped with the striking yellow treads. The step pad clip-step relax provides extra comfort: its special geometry cushions the front of the step and thus increases comfort for the user, especially when working for longer periods of time. The comfortable support on the next step makes work easier, less tiring and thus increases safety.

Established on the market

"We have hit the nail on the head with our anti-slip step paddings. Both the 'clip-step' and the 'clip-step R13' have been extremely well received and have firmly established themselves on the market. Because only with intelligent solutions like these can companies meet the increasingly stringent occupational safety requirements. The expansion of the clip-step family with clip-step R13 in signal yellow and clip-step relax is the logical continuation of our concept. I am proud that we can offer our customers real added value with our innovations in these sensitive and slip-prone work areas," explains Ferdinand Munk, owner and managing director of the Munk Group.

Especially in wet, dirty and oil-smeared work areas, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik's "clip-step R13" access equipment ensures safety on the ladder. Thanks to a plastic profile with interspersed corundum, these step pads meet the strict specifications for particularly sensitive work areas. They have been certified by the Institute for Occupational Safety (IFA) of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) in the highest rating group for slip resistance with R13.

With the slip-resistant step padding "clip-step R13", the quality manufacturer offered the high R13 standard for the first time also as standard for stepladders and even as a retrofit kit. The step support can simply be clipped onto existing stepladders from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik and thus also ensures top work safety at a later date.

In addition to stepladders and rung ladders, the company has also extended the successful R13 concept to its work platforms. Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik's slip-resistant decks are in demand not only in the series programme, but also in the area of special solutions. "We project a whole range of work platforms where the clients specifically demand our innovative R13 solutions as a plus for the safety of the employees," says Munk.

Thanks to ongoing new and further developments in the field of "ergonomics and slip resistance in access equipment", the family-owned company from Günzburger Steigtechnik is considered a leader in competence and innovation in this still young growth market. In its developments, the company always makes sure to present the user with added value.
