Press release

Optimum efficiency and work safety for all crafts on the construction site. Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik is presenting itself with this claim at Bau23 in Munich. In Hall C6 (Booth 329), the quality manufacturer from Bavaria will be showing its innovative solutions, such as the first rope-operated ladder ever to be equipped with steps, or the newly developed stepped construction pit ladder for risk-free and safe entry and exit in construction pits up to 2.10 metres deep. The various scaffolding solutions, such as the FlexxTower one-person scaffold, which can be assembled and dismantled in record time without the use of tools, also offer a plus in terms of work safety. The first stepladder made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP) for the electrical trade and manufactured in Germany will celebrate its construction premiere. The innovative solutions from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik's TRBS-compliant range can be seen not only in Hall C6, but also on the booth of the BG Bau employers' liability insurance association in Hall A3 (Booth 535).

"We show the full range in Munich, which simplifies the work of skilled craftsmen in all areas and offers the highest level of occupational safety. We have always developed our innovative solutions in close cooperation with professionals from the field. This includes public authorities as well as craftsmen. That's what it's all about: we always want to offer professionals added value for their work and, of course, safety made in Gemany," says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director and owner of the Munk Group, based in Günzburg and Leipheim (Bavaria). The product range, which was specially developed for the construction sector, is largely promoted within the framework of the BG Bau occupational health and safety premium programme. "This means that users benefit from the subsidy right from the time of purchase," Munk is pleased to say.

Top Safety

The new stepped rope-extension ladder, for example, offers top safety. Compared to rung rope ladders, the version with steps offers the advantage that users - in accordance with the updated TRBS specifications - can also carry out longer lasting work on each step without additional accessories. This makes the stepladder particularly versatile.

Safely in and out of the excavation pit

The new stepped pit ladder from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik ensures safe entry and exit from excavations. Craftsmen and construction workers benefit here from an extra wide height-adjustable platform with slip resistance in accordance with the R13 standard and 80 mm deep steps equipped with clip-step R13 slip-resistant step pads.

Scaffolds with SG safety guardrails

The different rolling scaffold variants from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik offer a plus in safety and efficiency, all of which are available in accordance with Din EN 1004 either with the new SG safety railing or alternatively with two assembly safety railings. This also applies to the FlexxTower one-person scaffolding from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik, which can be assembled and dismantled in record time and is suitable for working heights of up to 6.1 m.

"We are looking forward to many professional visitors from the crafts and building sectors. Because we really do have a suitable solution for every profession. In addition to ladders and scaffolding, these include fixed ladders on buildings for maintenance work or as escape stairs, as well as platforms, landings and miniature working platforms such as the FlexxLift," says Ferdinand Munk.

Access equipment competence in construction

The technology and innovation leader is also presenting the new business division of Munk Profiltechnik for the first time at BAU. Whether for vehicle interiors, for machine enclosures or for the installation of photovoltaic systems on roofs: Munk Profiltechnik's high-quality construction profiles can be combined in modules and are available from basic elements for self-assembly to complete systems assembled on site.

"We support the construction sector with our entire know-how. As a powerful partner, we do our utmost to support the professionals with innovative access equipment and sophisticated profile systems," notes Ferdinand Munk. His company offers one of the most comprehensive ranges for all crafts in the construction sector and provides a 15-year guarantee on all series products made in Germany.

Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik's product solutions can be seen not only at its own booth in Hall C6, but also at BG Bau - including regular product demonstrations at Booth 535 in Hall A3.
