Added occupational safety for the roof and timber construction

Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik presents innovations such as the new Ergo platform for rolling scaffolding at Dach + Holz International

13/02/2024

Press release

Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik is a strong partner for the roofing and timber construction industry: the quality manufacturer from Bavaria is proving this once again at Dach + Holz International in Stuttgart (5 to 8 March, Hall 9, Stand 9.313). Many product innovations from the access technology range will be on show in Stuttgart, first and foremost the new Ergo platform for rolling scaffolding and the new vertical ladder configurator. Other highlights include classics such as the popular FlexxTower single-person scaffolding, the FlexxLift small lifting platform and the extensive TRBS-compliant stepladder range. The experts from Günzburg will also be presenting the nivello ladder shoe with patented 2-axis tilting technology in the joint, the anti-slip clip-step R13 step pad, innovative special constructions and the company's extensive range of seminars.

"In roof and timber construction in particular, access technology that offers users real added value in terms of occupational safety is crucial. With sophisticated solutions such as our new Ergo platform for rolling scaffolding or the first vertical ladder configurator with realistic wall simulation, we are once again living up to this claim," says Ferdinand Munk, owner and Managing Director of Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik.

The new Ergo platform

Among the innovations on show in Stuttgart, the new Ergo platform stands out with its low weight: thanks to its special material properties made from a composite material, it is up to 40 per cent lighter than conventional scaffolding platforms. "With the Ergo platform, we are setting completely new standards when it comes to ergonomic working at height. It noticeably minimises the strain on workers and simplifies handling enormously with two practical grip rails. This naturally also reduces the risk of accidents at work. And thanks to its versatility, it is suitable for a wide variety of rolling scaffold superstructures," says Munk.

Upwards in record time

Visitors to the hardware fair will be able to find out just how good the Ergo platform is to work with using the FlexxTower single-person scaffolding as an example. With this perennial favourite from the Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik work safety range, users can reach working heights of up to 6.10 metres all by themselves and in no time at all. It is also extremely safe, as the FlexxTower-SG version is equipped with an advanced guardrail for maximum work safety.

With the FlexxLift to 4.20 metres

Visitors can even try out another highlight at the hardware fair for themselves: with the FlexxLift mini lifting platform, they can crank themselves up to working heights of up to 4.20 metres quickly and safely at the Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik stand. The FlexxLift is driven smoothly without electricity by a sophisticated crank mechanism and can be used by individuals on a mobile basis, regardless of location.

Vertical ladder configurator with wall simulation

As a special highlight, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik is also presenting the new vertical ladder configurator, which guides users to the ideal solution at www.steigtechnik.de/en/configurator. It is the first configurator in the industry that allows users and planners to realistically simulate their own façade and design their perfect vertical ladder.

At the stand, visitors to Dach + Holz International can also find out about the new training concept or the dates for the Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik roadshows and Munk Rettungstechnik products - as well as the extensive after-sales services offered by the Munk Service division.
