Full focus on logistics in rough terrain. That also applies to the "Florian" trade fair in Dresden. Following its successful launch at Interschutz, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik will present its new Premium off-road system for mobile containers at "Florian 2026" too (8 to 10 October, Hall 1, Stand E18). The trade fair appearance centres on new logistics solutions, the new mobile container configurator and practice-oriented product developments. The Munk Group will also unveil its next innovation in Dresden: a new development in nozzle holders.
"The Premium off-road system for our mobile containers, first unveiled in Hanover, was a highlight at Interschutz — visitors responded brilliantly to our test track with its varied surfaces. Trade visitors at the leading autumn fair for fire services, civil protection and disaster relief can look forward to further innovations too: alongside the Premium off-road system, we're also presenting a new nozzle holder," says Ferdinand Munk, owner and managing director of the Munk Group, based in Günzburg and Leipheim.
Focus on new operational challenges
With vegetation fires and extreme weather events on the rise, the company is placing greater focus on operations in rough terrain. With its new off-road technology, Munk Rettungstechnig is responding swiftly to growing demands in logistics. "Away from paved roads especially, flexible, robust solutions are needed to make transporting equipment and resupplying materials at the scene faster, more efficient and safer," says Munk.
New configurator for made-to-measure mobile containers
The full range of mobile containers is Munk Rettungstechnik's core focus at the fair — and from now on, they can be configured individually with the new mobile container configurator. The digital tool lets fire services and other emergency organisations assemble their own mobile container models and tailor them to their equipment and needs. "We're proud to be the first provider ever to present a digital configurator solution, opening up entirely new possibilities for response units," says Munk.
New: the emergency response guide
Anyone looking for inspiration for a tailor-made mobile container solution can browse the new Emergency Response Guide No. 10 from Munk Rettungstechnik at the fair. Alongside the full range of standard emergency equipment, it shows over 100 real-world examples of how mobile containers can be adapted and loaded for a wide range of scenarios and purposes.
Retrofit sticker kit for ladders
Munk Rettungstechnik is leading by shining example in Dresden, showcasing its expanded Glow range with afterglow effect. Fire and rescue services in towns and cities can now order a special retrofit kit for extension and three-part sliding ladders. "This lets fire services retrofit stickers to the sides of their existing equipment. It helps prevent accidents when crews use or cross pavements and cycle paths at dusk or in the dark, making operations even safer," says Alexander Werdich, also owner and managing director of the Munk Group.
Ram and tear hook makes operations easier
Another product highlight at the stand in Hall 1 is the new ram and tear hook, designed by Munk Rettungstechnik specifically for flexible use in confined conditions. Weighing just three kilograms, the compact tool delivers strong impact force and is very easy to handle. Its galvanised steel chisel-shaped head lets crews strike, tear apart or pull out components and obstacles. The aluminium shaft extends from one to two metres without tools, thanks to spring-loaded snap fasteners, while the D-handle enables fast, secure use — even in difficult conditions and while wearing gloves. "The mix of materials strikes a good balance between stability and low weight, and improves handling," summarises Ferdinand Munk.
New rescue stretcher storage unit
Also new in Munk Rettungstechnik's range is the multifunctional rescue stretcher storage unit, which adds value not only in mass casualty incidents but also in ambulance and rescue services. Thanks to its low weight and compact dimensions, the new product is easy to transport and quick to set up. It is designed to allow casualties to be placed in the shock position too. It was developed specifically for use by fire services, ambulance services, disaster relief organisations, aid agencies and the military. Particularly practical: the rescue stretcher storage unit can also be used as a table, straight ladder or bench.
Seminar information
Emergency crews in Dresden can also find out about seminars on maintaining and inspecting rescue equipment. In a single day, individuals qualified to carry out inspections can gain the knowledge they need at the one-day seminars "Portable fire service ladders and rescue platforms" and "Inspection and maintenance of mobile containers". As the only provider to do so, Munk also runs a combined seminar on "Inspection and maintenance of portable fire service ladders and mobile containers", which pairs both one-day seminars over two consecutive days.
The full range
Rounding off Munk Rettungstechnik's presence is a showcase of its comprehensive product range. Young visitors are catered for too, with the popular children's fire brigade mobile container on hand.
