Press release

Play, fun and outings: once again this year, Munk Group is offering its employees free holiday childcare during the first two weeks of the school summer holidays. For the "MUNK Kids" – all children and grandchildren of staff – that means two weeks of holiday fun right at the company site.

Munk Group is using the 2026 summer holidays to continue its holiday childcare scheme for employees' children. For two weeks, the children can look forward to a varied programme. This year's highlights include the Munk Olympics, a magic party and a detective day, rounded off with trips to the open-air theatre, a visit to a birds-of-prey park and other outings in the region. Meals and participation are free for all employees' children.

"This is now the 14th time we've been able to offer the MUNK Kids holiday childcare, and it grows more popular with parents and children every year," says Margit Werdich-Munk. "I'm proud that we can give the children an unforgettable time and take some of the pressure off their parents."

The holiday childcare scheme has been a fixed part of Munk Group's employee benefits since its launch in 2012. The family business from Günzburg employs more than 450 people from 24 nations and was named Employer of the Year in 2026.
