08/08/2022

Press release

Finally, the hardware fair is back! The 2022 edition is a very special one for Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik, as the innovation and technology leader will be presenting its new brand presence under the umbrella of the Munk Group at the hardware industry meeting in Cologne. On Stand A001 in Hall 3.2, all new products from the access equipment range will be on show, such as the market innovation, the stepladder, the exclusive "Munk Edition" of the stepladder safety ladder, as well as the FlexxTower one-person scaffolding and the FlexxLift mini-lift work platform. Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik will be presenting its new products and classics from its product range with a variety of live demos on the action area.

"The hardware fair is the industry meeting place par excellence. I am all the more pleased that we can present ourselves live again in Cologne. After all, a lot has happened since the last edition in 2018. We have expanded our range with truly groundbreaking new products and have geared our company structure and brand presence towards the future and growth. So there is a lot to see here," says Ferdinand Munk, owner and managing director of the Munk Group.

The first TRBS-compliant stepped rope ladder

Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik's latest coup is the new stepped rope access ladder that has just been developed. This ladder can be extended from a length of 3.62 metres to 6.42 metres in one easy step. A few pulls are enough - and the market innovation is ready for use in record time. The development from Günzburg is the first rope-operated ladder with steps on the market and thus fulfils all the requirements of TRBS 2121 Part 2. It is available in the standard version as well as in the version with the anti-slip tread clip-step R13. Additionally equipped with handrails and an exit rail, it fulfils the requirements of BG BAU for the occupational safety premium programme.

"Those who know us know that we are constantly working on the optimisation of our product range and pay particular attention to the details that offer the user added value. When it comes to occupational safety and efficiency, we are known not to compromise. I am very pleased that we will once again be able to present a whole range of products to our partners from the trade and industry in Cologne, which we have consistently developed according to our maxim 'Safety. Made in Germany'," says Munk.

At the stand, visitors to the hardware trade fair can also find out about the new training concept or also the dates for the Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik roadshows, the products of Munk Rettungstechnik and the extensive after-sales services of the Munk Service division.
