Press release

Concentrated know-how and top-class innovations: this is what visitors to RETTmobil 2023 can expect at the Munk Rettungstechnik booth (1513 in hall J). The technology and innovation leader for access equipment and mobile container solutions for fire, rescue and disaster relief operations will be presenting itself in Fulda as a strong partner for fire brigades and aid organisations and will have two shining trade fair innovations with it: the luminescent handle bar with Ergo-Glow-Grip for mobile containers and the likewise luminescent Glow rung covering for fire brigade ladders. Also on the stand is the extensive product range of multi-functional, plug-in and extension ladders, rescue platforms, toolboxes and roll containers as well as the complete appliance room equipment.

With the trade fair innovations from Munk Rettungstechnik, the RETTmobil trade public will no longer be in the dark at night, because from now on there are handle and rung coverings that are charged by UV radiation during the day and make rolling containers and ladders visible at night. With the Ergo-Glow-Grip, the name says it all, because the luminescent handle bar ensures a comfortable grip and particularly ergonomic working thanks to its oval shape. The glow version of the heat-insulating and non-slip rung covering for fire brigade ladders makes the ladder rungs conspicuously luminescent and thus increases the safety of the emergency services even in the dark. The Ergo-Glow-Grip and the Glow rung covering are also available as retrofit kits so that users can make their existing equipment glow at a later date.

Wide range

For the quick and efficient transport of equipment and supplies to the scene of an emergency, Munk Rettungstechnik offers a wide range of roll containers that can be used for all purposes and requirements. It doesn't matter whether it's respiratory protection, hoses, foam agents or even power-lighting equipment. In addition to the wide standard range, there is also a wide range of pre-configured close-to-production solutions. These can, of course, also be tried out directly on site at the exhibition stand.

Munk Rettungstechnik is also a valuable partner for rescue forces and aid organisations before and after operations - especially with the right equipment for the modern equipping of equipment houses, such as ladder test rigs for regular load tests. Insights into the wide range of equipment for appliance rooms are also available in Fulda.

Digital to the right spare part

If a visual inspection of the ladder after use reveals a defect such as a damaged rung protector or a frayed rope, the emergency services can now find the required spare part faster than ever: "We now provide our rescue equipment solutions with a product-specific QR code that takes the user directly to the spare parts overview of the product and, in the next step, conveniently to the enquiry form. This way, the emergency services can really find everything they need to make their rescue equipment fit again for the next mission - right down to the last screw," says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director and owner of the Munk Group.

Quality that saves lives

At the RETTmobil stand of Munk Rettungstechnik, the heart of every fire brigade equipment is of course also represented: With the different fire brigade ladders according to DIN EN 1147 or ÖNORM F 4047, the rescue and work platforms as well as the wide range of fire brigade boxes, the emergency services are optimally equipped for emergencies.

Munk Rettungstechnik will not only be presenting all the new products and its classics from the product range live on site, but also in the new Rescue Technology Guide No. 9, which is also more digital than ever before. In addition to the print version, a new, highly functional digital version is also available: Users can browse and navigate the digital guidebook directly online at www.steigtechnik.de/katalog.

As is customary at Munk Rettungstechnik, the experts also provide information on all regulations and the comprehensive training programme in a separate standards and training corner.
