TOP 100 Award
Since 1993, compamedia has been awarding the "Top 100" seal in recognition of outstanding innovative strength and above-average innovation success to SME sector companies. Since 2002, the scientific direction has been in the hands of Prof. Nikolaus Franke from the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Vienna University of Economics. The scientist is regarded internationally as one of the leading experts in user innovation. The mentor to the "Top 100" is the science journalist and TV presenter Ranga Yogeshwar. The project is partnered by the Fraunhofer Society for the Promotion of Applied Research. manager magazine is the competition's media partner.
PVH Award 2014
Its close and trusting partnership with the specialist retail sector has now taken Günzburger Steigtechnik to the very top yet again: the specialists in access technology and rescue equipment were unbeatable in the vote by the "production liaison trade" (PVH) as a "Partner to the specialist trade".

Bavaria’s Top 50
Top award for Günzburger Steigtechnik The Bavarian quality manufacturer is one of the best companies in the whole of Bavaria and in 2014 was awarded the title of "Bavaria's Best 50" by the Bavarian State Ministry for Business, Energy and Technology.
Partner to the specialist trade
At the 14th selection of the "Partner to the specialist trade", Günzburger Steigtechnik takes 2nd place in 2013 in the business equipment category and is once again one of the top partners to the "production liaison trade" (PVH). The access technology professionals from Günzburg are also among the PVH's top 3 in the category of business equipment for the twelfth time.

Nordwest Supplier Award
Nordwest Handel AG presented Günzburger Steigtechnik with its Supplier Award for the first time in 2013 in recognition of its innovative product improvements. With its award, the association which, with 740 affiliated trading partners across Europe is one of the most significant associations in the production liaison trade, in particular honoured the latest innovation from Günzburg, the slip-preventing "clip-step" step padding for step ladders from Günzburger Steigtechnik.
Prize winner in the "Bavarian SME Award 2010"
The Federal Association of Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW) awarded Günzburger Steigtechnik 2nd prize in the "Bavarian SME Award 2010″ for its outstanding entrepreneurial achievements . The award was presented by Bavaria's Business Minister Martin Zeil in person to Steigtechnik's boss, Ferdinand Munk. The key criteria for winning this award include high innovative strength and the creative product solutions with added value for the customer.
Grand Prix of Small and Medium Enterprises
From 3,366 companies nominated nationwide, Günzburger Steigtechnik was crowned the winner in 2009.

The "Grand Prix of Small and Medium Enterprises" has been awarded for 15 years to innovative and successful SMEs and is regarded as the most prestigious SME prize in Germany.
2nd place in the TASPO Award 2008
- In the category of "Customer-focused technology and requirements provider" with the new "roll bar" stabiliser for multi-purpose ladders.
