On today’s World Bee Day, we shine a spotlight on some very special "employees": the MUNK Group’s own bee colonies at our Günzburg site.

These bees contribute significantly to biodiversity and bring our commitment to sustainability to life right on our doorstep – a tangible example of ecological responsibility within the company grounds.

From pollination and honey production to raising awareness about environmental issues, our bees create a unique connection between nature and our company culture.

Three intense and rewarding days at RETTmobil 2025 in Fulda have come to an end – with numerous inspiring conversations and fresh ideas.

At the heart of our presentation were custom-designed access solutions for fire brigades and emergency services – ranging from our proven SafeCaddy® to fully tailored special constructions.

Discussions with professionals on efficiency, ergonomics and above all safety in action once again demonstrated the importance of practical, real-world solutions for emergency operations.

Successful completion of training - reinforcements for the MUNK Group team
A successful company needs committed and qualified employees - we are delighted to congratulate three colleagues on passing their final exams in the metalworking apprenticeship specialising in construction technology.

This qualification marks an important milestone in their professional careers. We are particularly proud that all three will continue their careers at the MUNK Group and join our team as permanent employees in the future.

Over several days, the MUNK Group had the pleasure of hosting the HSEQ Town Hall Meeting of SPIE Germany Switzerland Austria – an insightful and productive gathering with numerous occupational safety experts. The discussions on our products, current challenges and joint solution approaches once again highlighted the importance of strong partnerships in improving workplace safety sustainably.

A key part of the meeting was the hands-on segment: participants had the opportunity to extensively test various access technology solutions from the MUNK Group and share their direct feedback. The ideas and suggestions collected will contribute to the ongoing development of our products and the further strengthening of our collaboration.

The event concluded with a culinary highlight: a stylish kitchen party with tasting stations at the Oldtimerfabrik Neu-Ulm. The elegant setting provided the perfect atmosphere for further engaging conversations and enjoyable moments.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the BVMW, TV.Berlin launched the new interview format ‘Der Mittelstand. The entrepreneur talk’. In the second episode, Ferdinand Munk, owner of the MUNK Group, was a guest to talk about 125 years of innovation, tradition and responsibility in security technology.

Presenter Frank Schmeichel was delighted with the open and authentic conversation: ‘Ferdinand Munk was an inspiring dialogue partner. I learnt more about access technology than ever before - and not just technically.’

We are delighted that the MUNK Group was presented as an example for German SMEs. This TV format gives entrepreneurs a platform to tell their success stories and share their values.
