The look is new, but the focus on safety made in Germany has long been established: The Munk Group will be presenting itself at the ‘Occupational Safety and Health’ (A+A) 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf with a new, modern stand concept, showcasing its innovative climbing and rescue technology solutions even better than ever before. The focus of the trade fair presentation in Hall 1 (Stand C70) will be on the latest innovations, such as the new modular access equipment concept, the new SGX version of the FlexxTower single-person scaffold, the various online configurators, special constructions and new products from Munk Rettungstechnik.
‘The A+A trade fair in Düsseldorf is the highlight of the trade fair calendar every two years, and something our entire team eagerly anticipates. I am therefore all the more delighted that we are once again able to present a whole range of innovations to the international trade audience. In Düsseldorf, we are demonstrating more than ever that safety made in Germany is firmly anchored in our DNA,’ says Ferdinand Munk, owner and managing director of the Munk Group.
Modular access equipment
The quality manufacturer from Bavaria is presenting its new modular access equipment concept at A+A. As the name suggests, these are modular, expandable products, such as plug-in step and platform ladders, the ML folding step ladder, and the single-person scaffolding of the FlexxTower series. All modular expandable products can be assembled, disassembled and converted completely without tools using plug connections. This allows users to easily adapt their access equipment to a wide range of working heights – with complete work safety.
Working heights of up to 9.55 metres
This applies in particular to the FlexxTower single-person scaffold, which can be seen in Düsseldorf in the new SGX version. It allows working heights of up to 9.55 metres. In the SGX version, the FlexxTower is equipped with three levels instead of two and a front safety railing as standard. The scaffolding also features the user-friendly Ergo platform on all levels: this is up to 40% lighter than conventional mobile scaffolding platforms, making it much easier on the user.
Interactive FlexxLift
The various work and assembly platforms as well as the FlexxLift mini lifting platform, which has established itself as an interactive exhibit at the Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik stand, also offer complete safety for all work. ‘It's always great to see how much fun the trade fair visitors have cranking themselves up quickly and safely with the FlexxLift,’ reveals Alexander Werdich, also owner and Managing Director of the Munk Group.
Safety upgrade with useful accessories
You don't always need a new ladder or scaffolding to improve ergonomics and work safety in everyday life. The right accessories are often enough to give existing access equipment an ergonomic or safety upgrade. Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik will also be showcasing efficient and practical solutions such as the TRBS kit for rung ladders or the complete set for ladder head protection at stand C70 in hall 1.
Configure access equipment yourself on site
Visitors can also use the online configurator with touchscreen to put together their own customised access technology solution, such as a fixed access ladder, a bridging platform or a walkway system. Hall 1 is also the right place for anyone who needs a completely customised access technology solution, such as an electrically height-adjustable and contoured work platform as a special design. At their stand, the experts from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik will be providing information about the wide range of options that the quality manufacturer offers for a wide variety of sectors such as industry, rail and bus transport, aviation and the German Armed Forces.
Outlook for the 2026 innovations
Ferdinand Munk and his team traditionally take a look ahead to the 2026 financial year at the A+A stand: "Our customers and specialist retail partners are used to us presenting a preview of the new products in the 2026 product range in Düsseldorf. Of course, you can also look forward to this this year," explains Ferdinand Munk.
News from Munk Rettungstechnik
The focus will not only be on innovative access equipment, but also on the product range from the Munk Rettungstechnik division. For example, the latest innovations such as the rescue stretcher storage system and the new pull-in hooks for rescue teams will be on show in Düsseldorf - as well as the classics in the rescue technology range such as mobile containers and fire service ladders with DIN and Ö standards.
"A+A in Düsseldorf is the crowning finale to a very eventful 2025 financial year. Throughout the year, our activities focussed on the 125th anniversary of the company. I am therefore all the more looking forward to the industry get-together, where we can ring in the final spurt for the successful anniversary year 2025 together with our customers, specialist retailers and business partners," says Ferdinand Munk.
