Beaming children, relaxed parents

MUNK Group delights with holiday programme for over 50 children

28/08/2025

Press release

For two weeks, everything at the MUNK Group revolved around work-life balance: over 50 children of employees and their grandchildren were looked after as part of the Munk Kids Summer Camp 2025. The holiday care programme traditionally takes place during the first two weeks of the summer holidays – an offer that provides noticeable relief for parents and gives children unforgettable experiences.

One of the many highlights was a trip to Bavaria Film Studios, where the children were given a behind-the-scenes look at major film productions. But the programme also included trips to the zoo, theatre visits, nature projects with the Munk bees and sporting activities. The meeting point was always the new clubhouse in the MUNK Group's staff garden, where each day began with a communal breakfast and lots of excitement about the activities ahead.

The summer camp was supported and organised by the management and the family advisory board. ‘We want our employees to know that their children are well looked after – and at the same time, we want the children to experience where their parents work. This makes corporate culture a practical experience,’ emphasises owner and managing director Ferdinand Munk.

Alexander Werdich, managing partner, also emphasises the importance of the offer: ‘For us, family friendliness is not just a buzzword, but something we put into practice. With the Munk Kids Club, we create freedom for parents and unforgettable moments for children.’

A special experience on the first day was the presentation of the Munk Kids' own song. The children had developed their own dance choreography to accompany the song, crowning the opening of the new Munk Kids Clubhouse – a living symbol of creativity, community and team spirit.

With the summer camp, the MUNK Group shows how family friendliness and corporate responsibility go hand in hand – to the benefit of employees, their children and the entire region.
